The heartbeat of our ministry is discipleship. Everything we do is for the purpose of seeing students grow in faith and maturity in a Christ-centered environment.

We believe that families are the most formative factor in the development of children and teens. Because of this, we seek to consider not only teens, but families in our ministry. From parent forums to dad’s groups, and family hosted events, families and parents are an important part of our ministry model.

What To Expect

We meet weekly in the Student Center. When you arrive, you will be greeted by our Host Team at the front doors. Just inside the lobby some of our adult volunteer team will be present to help you find your way around. You may want to head into the gym to play basketball, cornhole or volleyball. The Refuge is a calmer, coffee shop environment if you would rather connect with others without the sports element.

Sunday Mornings

10:45-Noon weekly

On Sundays we open and study God’s word together in a large group followed by further discussion and prayer in age-specific small groups. Year round we encourage students to attend worship during the first service at 9am in the main building.

VISITORS – To pre-checkin for either/both services, all families with kids high-school aged and younger may head to the “Childrens Check-In” area in the Lobby to complete the registration, there your child will be assigned to the appropriate class. First-time visitors may pre-register HERE.

Wednesday Evenings

7:00-8:30pm weekly

On Wednesdays, after a game or ice breaker we worship and study as a larger group followed by age-specific small groups. But throughout the year we also have guy and girl specific nights, specific high school and middle school programing, panel discussions, worship or prayer nights, and fun activity nights! Everything we do, even the fun stuff, has a purpose, which is helping students Follow Christ for Life!

High School Trips

We take a ski trip every winter during Christmas break and a white-water rafting trip every year towards the end of summer break.

We also offer international mission trips every 2-3 years as well.

Each summer our students have an opportunity to staff our Summer Blast program. This weeklong children and families outreach event is hosted in various neighborhoods in our community.
