Harriet’s Ministry
Clearwater Community Church seeks to mobilize our church into significant community service motivated by our love for Jesus Christ. One way we do that is through Harriet’s.
Harriet’s is a Christ-centered Food Pantry that provides a “helping hand” to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of people in our community. Neither Harriet’s nor Clearwater Community Church provides financial/monetary assistance to its clients.
HOURS
Open for drive-through distribution only on THE FIRST FOUR TUESDAYS of each month from 9 am – 12 noon.
(Closed on 5th Tuesdays)
MOST NEEDED DONATIONS
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- 1-lb packages of spaghetti or other dry pasta
- Canned/plastic containers of pasta sauce (no glass please)
- Small cans of tuna or chicken
- Bars of soap
- Toothpaste
- Clean plastic grocery bags
- Egg cartons (dozen only, please)
WHERE TO DROP OFF DONATIONS
Non-perishable food donations are appreciated and may be brought inside the church on Sundays or left in the bins with yellow lids, under Harriet’s portico.
WHO MAY VISIT HARRIET'S FOOD PANTRY
Currently anyone who is able to arrive by 11:30 on a Tuesday with photo ID may visit Harriet’s.
HOW OFTEN MAY SOMEONE VISIT?
Clients may receive food once a month. First-timers will be registered in our database and assigned a week. Please bring your ID.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Church members may always use volunteer.
Current needs are 1-2 people to help with the shopping during the summer. Keep in mind, while most jobs do involve a bit of lifting, volunteers are also needed on Tuesdays for distribution and prayer; other days for sorting; and occasionaly help is needed for cleaning and organizing.
