Pinewood Derby

Come compete in our 2nd Pinewood Derby!

What is a Pinewood Derby?  It is great fun where your family gets to design and build small cars out of a block of wood at home and then bring it on Race Day to see how you do.

Pinewood Derby cars are simply small model car kits (available on Amazon, at Hobby Lobby, Boy Scouts of America, etc). 

The cars are gravity-powered and run down a regulation track.  You and your kids will race to see who has the fastest car.  Not everyone in your family needs to race, just those who want to.  There will also be special mention of cars that are the most Creative, funniest-looking, and most Realistic.

A detailed info packet will be sent upon registration. We will offer a practice date August 15th, Friday, from 6-8pm.
