Disaster Relief
In the past, disaster relief and recovery in North America has been overlooked for aid to foreign nations.  However, as illustrated by the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina, there are many in need in our own back yard.  We feel that the resources of the church body, through the empowering of the Holy Spirit, can be a helping hand in times of disaster for those in need in our community and in our country.

In the aftermath of Katrina, CCC began working with Samaritan's Purse in Kiln, MS, to help efforts at recovery and reconstruction.  Our ongoing intent is to focus on areas of disaster relief and disaster preparedness.
