Home Small Groups

The Vision
We believe that the Lord has led us to emphasize small groups as a primary vehicle for achieving a deeper level of spiritual growth and personal care for all of us who are part of the CCC body. Each group consists of 8-12 people meeting together in homes or at church on various days of the week from 1 ½ to 2 hours, at least twice a month.

The group gatherings involve three main elements:

  • Up-reach (prayer, Bible study, and worship)
  • In-reach (fellowship and caring for one another)
  • Out-reach (service and reaching out to friends and neighbors)

All three elements are not necessarily present in every meeting, but the group leaders attempt to keep a healthy balance of all three over time.  After 18-24 months, it is expected that many groups will multiply and/or spin off new groups.

What about you?
We realize a commitment to a small group will require sacrifices and adjustments to schedules, but we believe God is clearly calling us to this step of “Building a community to reach our community” by committing to one-another through small groups.
